StorTera is B-Corp Certified!
As of June 2026, StorTera has achieved B-Corporation status, with an overall B impact score of 90.7. We are thrilled to be part of this movement and are committed to continuous improvement in the values that B Corp signifies.
What is B Corp?
Becoming a B Corporation entails passing an assessment of your business against the “B Lab Standards”. These standards are a globally recognised framework that verify a company’s commitment to social, environmental and governance impact across key areas. This certification procedure is independently verified by a third-party during assessment.
For StorTera, the B Corp framework makes us accountable for our sustainability ambitions and encourages us to commit to positive environmental and social targets. In practice, this translates into monitoring and improving our company’s carbon footprint, the carbon savings our projects achieve and rigorous supply chain management including screening our suppliers for compliance and good practices. We have already built carbon saving measurement into our Traicon energy management platform, enabling us and our customers to easily track the emissions savings of their battery systems.
We also promote and implement fair treatment of employees while advancing justice, equity, diversity and inclusion to create a safer and more inclusive workspace.
StorTera received support through the application process from the Edinburgh 500 initiative managed by Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce and Edinburgh Can B, with the goal of getting 500 local companies B Corp certified by 2030.
Brenda Park, COO says
‘As certified B Corps, we're dedicated to raising the standard of sustainability in everything we do - from our operations to the products we deliver. We're honoured to collaborate with like-minded companies driving measurable impact for people and the planet.’
