Our units are designed for a service life of 15 to 20 years, depending on usage patterns and environmental conditions. Factors such as depth of discharge, cycle life and usage profile affect lifespan. 

We only use Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery cells from globally recognised top-tier manufacturers. Our LFP cells are cobalt and nickel free and have enhanced thermal safety and long cycle life in comparison to other Lithium Ion chemistries. 

StorTera’s systems are primarily targeted towards grid-scale and commercial applications, so are not intended for individual residential use. We no longer offer the StorTower product for sale.
